Carolyn Hahn, MD

 

Dr. Carolyn Hahn is a board-certified psychiatrist.  She graduated from Dartmouth College and The University of Vermont College of Medicine.  Dr. Hahn was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during medical school.  She completed her psychiatry residency training at Columbia University Medical Center, and then completed a fellowship in University Mental Health at Yale University.  During her fellowship, Dr. Hahn focused on treating the complicated issues that arise during the transition from late adolescence and early adulthood, all while assessing for emerging psychiatric symptoms, in the context of the complex social/academic/administrative structure of the university setting.

Following her training, Dr. Hahn worked at Yale University and Columbia University as a staff psychiatrist.  She was the psychiatrist on the Eating Disorder Team at Columbia University, and worked extensively with patients with eating disorders in a multidisciplinary approach.  Dr. Hahn also worked in various hospital settings in the emergency room and consult service.  Throughout her clinical experiences, Dr. Hahn treated adolescents and adults with various psychiatric issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma disorders, substance disorders, pain disorders and co-morbid medical issues.
